In 1951, American Bartending School opened its doors at 334 South Wabash (just above Ronny's Steakhouse), Chicago, IL. Today, the American Professional Bartending School's Chicago campus is located just 3 blocks south of the original school, at 634 South Wabash.

With over 59 years of continuous operation in Chicago, we are the oldest Bartending School in the world.

Many generations and thousands of bartenders, bar managers and bar owners are former graduates and alumni members of our schools. We continually enhance and upgrade our courses to reflect the changing trends and tastes of bar customers.

We know and understand Chicago. Well over 100,000 people have taken our courses in Chicagoland since 1951.
